Who is WhatsMine?
We’re a startup with a difference. Incubated within Scentre Group (the owner and operator of Westfield in Australia and New Zealand), WhatsMine is the exciting new loyalty platform that is making it easier for customers to connect with their favourite brands.
The Loyalty and rewards industry is experiencing significant disruption and growth, and WhatsMine is well positioned to evolve the way consumers and businesses connect. WhatsMine aggregates multiple loyalty and rewards programs to make discovering and redeeming rewards effortless. You’ll no longer have to navigate a complex and fragmented loyalty landscape, with our app providing seamless access to big household brands like Woolworths, Qantas, and Cotton On all in one place.
What is the opportunity?
Having only launched a few months ago, WhatsMine has already seen incredible feedback and traction from both users and loyalty brands. We’re now ready for a Growth Manager to join our team, and play a critical role ensuring product-market fit and our growth as Australia's leading digital app for Loyalty and Membership programs.
As Growth Manager, you will be a key driver of our growth strategy - everything from strategy to program execution. This role is integral to acquiring high-value users, opening up new acquisition channels, informing product direction, and unlocking pathways to user growth through the application.
We’re introducing the role on a 3 month initial daily rate contract, with the view to switch to a permanent opportunity once we continue to scale up. Your main base will be in the WhatsMine Sydney CBD office, though we encourage and support your flexible working too.
What do we need you to do?
- Craft, refine, and drive our strategy for rapid growth in Australia
- Drive the growth and adoption of WhatsMine by understanding our core users, their pain points, and how best to reach them in a multi-channel environment
- Develop and help lead the execution of marketing and partnership programs
- Constantly track and improve our initiatives to ensure we’re investing in all the right areas at all the right times.
- Excel at experimentation to ensure we’ve got the right blend of channels, tactics, and areas of focus
- Define, executive, analyse, and optimise A/B and multi-variant tests
- Define and validate core KPIs such as CAC, retention, ROI and LTV
- Thrive in a startup environment
What will set you apart?
This is one of the most diverse roles at WhatsMine and you will excel at handling uncertainty and ambiguity. You’ve had experience building something from scratch and you’re familiar with the Australian market and all its intricacies.
You’ll have strong experience with a number of key growth areas, such as paid growth, copywriting, email campaigns, analytics etc. You understand growth marketing not because you’ve seen it, but because you’ve done it, and you subscribe to the belief that data should drive decisions and would describe yourself as analytical.
You’re detail-oriented, structured, methodical, and even obsessed with managing relationships and follow-ups, and you’re tenacious, curious, and verging on the obsessive over details whether it’s a marketing campaign and product feature.
What sets us apart from the rest?
There are very few opportunities to be part of an early-stage product such as this in the Sydney market, especially one that has the unique advantage of being a corporate-backed start up, with the security and access to networks you won’t get elsewhere.
Working at WhatsMine you will strive to implement best practice and continuous improvement. You will join the founding team to continually find opportunities to grow, experiment and innovate. We’ll give you a steep learning curve and personal growth trajectory, and the chance to experiment, fail and learn. You’ll work cross-functionally, giving you the ability to learn from product, engineering and leadership in a close collaborative environment.
We encourage and support our employees to find balance in their work lives and what is important to them outside of work by embracing a flexible approach to how they work.
