We’re currently seeking a motivated Service Desk Analyst to join our Employee Experience Services team. This is a fast-paced, busy and varied role, where day to day you’ll respond to user calls and assist in resolving Level 1 issues using the ITIL methodology.
You’ll be a first port of call for supporting our staff across the business needing assistance with IT. Throughout the span of the call, you’ll identify the user’s issue, explain technical information to the user, and take the steps to resolve. Where required, you’ll also escalate unresolved issues to our wider IT division for specialised assistance. In addition to this, you’ll also add value by identifying common or repetitive issues and develop proactive solutions.
We’re offering the position on a permanent basis, which will work on a fortnightly rotating roster. Our roster runs between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, and will be for an 8-hour day (full-time hours).
What will set you apart from the rest?
This is a fast-paced and high-volume environment, so it’s important that you have a sense of urgency, a high degree of self-motivation, and you’re able to maintain great customer service under pressure. You’ll be a strong communicator, with excellent attention to detail, and enjoy working in a team.
Ideally you’ll have experience in a similar position or within a technology service desk environment. If you haven’t yet had the chance to work within a Technology team, you’ll be able to demonstrate knowledge of technology practices instead.
