The Opportunity  

Our Leasing Finance team plays a key role within our Operations Finance department, as finance business partners to our businesses team. The Leasing Finance team supports commercial decisions and provides financial insights and analysis to our businesses stakeholders.

As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will partner and provide financial support to the Businesses Team. The key aspects of the role include forecasting, budgeting, reporting on variance analysis and deal benchmarking. You’ll have an integral role within the asset team to support commercial decisions and provide financial insights and analysis to Businesses and Finance Stakeholders. Your key accountabilities will include:  

  • Create Insights and Strategic Analysis - Provide numerical support for leasing decisions related to gross rent data across a portfolio of centres
  • Partner - Provide analysis which promotes financial understanding and decision support to key stakeholders whilst maintaining independence. Establish and build mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Financial and Management Reporting - Produce, review, analyse and provide timely and accurate insights to these reports.
  • People - Set direction, provide guidance and coaching for the Leasing Finance Analysts and take ownership for all key financial tasks and ensure attainability of deliverables.
  • Innovation - Support the delivery of a range of Finance initiatives that help Scentre Group achieve its strategic objectives

What sets you apart

You are an experienced finance professional with 5+ years' experience, ideally within property or a related commercial environment. You hold tertiary qualifications and are CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent), with strong financial modelling, reporting and analytical capabilities. Experience with Excel is essential, and exposure to JD Edwards, Salesforce and TM1 would be advantageous.
 
You bring proven leadership capability, with experience guiding and developing analysts while influencing a broad range of stakeholders. You communicate confidently, build trusted relationships, and are known for your strong attention to detail, sound judgement and disciplined approach to reviewing financial information. You also have a continuous improvement mindset and enjoy identifying opportunities to enhance processes and ways of working.
