Your opportunity

The Community team leads Scentre Group’s community engagement strategy across Australia and New Zealand. The team develops and delivers programs, partnerships and initiatives that strengthen community connection, support social impact priorities and create meaningful engagement opportunities for customers, retailers and local communities.

The Team Coordinator – Community Programs supports the delivery of community engagement initiatives, partnerships and operational activities that strengthen connection between Westfield destinations and the communities they serve. The role provides coordination, administrative and stakeholder support across a broad range of community programs and engagement activities.

Day-to-day you will be responsible for:

  • Support the coordination and delivery of community engagement initiatives, programs and events
  • Assist with the administration and operational management of community programs, including Westfield Local Heroes, volunteering and partnerships
  • Coordinate stakeholder communications, meeting logistics and follow-up activities across multiple initiatives
  • Assist with preparing high-quality presentations, reports, briefing materials and community communications
  • Support reporting activities, including tracking program participation, stakeholder engagement and community outcomes
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, community partners and external stakeholders
  • Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, ensuring alignment with operational standards and governance requirements

 

This role is permanent, full-time.

 

What sets you apart

We’re looking for a self-motivated, confident, and detail-orientated individual, who is passionate about community.

  • Previous experience in an administrative or coordination role. Experience in marketing or community environments is highly regarded.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, confidently engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all work
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
