Your opportunity
As a Corporate Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the integrity of the Group's financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and maintaining a strong control environment. Working as part of the Group Finance team, you will contribute to monthly, half-year and year-end reporting, group consolidations, statutory financial reporting, technical accounting analysis and audit coordination.
Day-to-day you will:
- Assist with the half-year and year-end Trust consolidation process
- Maintain consolidation journals and reporting adjustments
- Assist in drafting half-year and annual financial statements and supporting disclosures
- Assist in the preparation of Executive and Audit & Finance Committee reporting packs
- Support the completion of half-year and year-end external reporting requirements
- Prepare subsidiary/sub trust financial statements
- Prepare half-yearly tax calculations
- Monthly GL close including account reconciliations and preparation of adhoc reports & analysis
- Exposure to capital transactions such as investment acquisitions or disposals, debt or equity raising
- Contribute to the review and improvement of processes
This is a permanent, full time role.

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance is required
- 4+ years accounting experience, ideally gained in audit or a corporate accounting environment.
- CA/CPA qualified or currently working towards your CA/CPA qualification
- Naturally curious, with an interest in technical accounting and keeping up to date with changes in accounting standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work
- A proactive approach, with the confidence to take initiative and contribute across a variety of tasks
