At Scentre Group, our purpose is to create extraordinary places, connecting and enriching communities. As the owner and operator of Westfield destinations across Australia and New Zealand, we bring together customers, retailers, partners and communities to create places where people choose to spend their time.
The Risk & Internal Audit team supports Scentre Group to understand and manage risk, protect value and make informed decisions. Partnering across the organisation, the team provides independent oversight, risk expertise and assurance that supports strong governance, effective controls and sustainable business performance. The team works across destinations and support office functions to help the business proactively identify, understand and respond to risk while supporting the successful delivery of our strategic priorities.
Within Risk & Internal Audit, Business Review & Audit (BR&A) provides independent and objective assurance, insight and advice over the design and operating effectiveness of governance, risk management, key processes and controls. The team combines deep business understanding, strong stakeholder relationships and contemporary assurance practices to support risk-informed decision-making and continuous improvement across Scentre Group. BR&A is committed to delivering assurance that is aligned to business priorities, focused on areas of highest risk and increasingly enabled through data, analytics and emerging technologies.
