A career with us offers the opportunity to shape the future of retail by combining the best of physical and digital experiences. Every day, our people play a vital role in delivering our purpose of creating extraordinary places where communities come together.

Your Opportunity

This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract based in our Chermside Support Office.

We are seeking a commercially driven and people-focused leader to join our Leasing & Retail Solutions team as Regional Manager - Pop-Up Leasing (Queensland).

In this high-profile leadership role, you will lead a team of four Pop-Up Leasing professionals and oversee the commercial performance of six Queensland Westfield destinations, including three of Australia's Top 20 shopping centres by Moving Annual Turnover (MAT).

You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, occupancy, utilisation and retailer engagement across one of the largest and most strategically important Pop-Up Leasing portfolios in the country. Working closely with Centre Management teams, Leasing, Development, Marketing and Retail partners, you will play a key role in shaping the Common Mall retail experience and delivering exceptional commercial outcomes.

This role offers a unique opportunity to influence strategy, develop high-performing teams and contribute meaningfully to the performance of some of Australia's premier retail destinations.

Your Impact

As Regional Manager, you will lead the commercial execution of Pop-Up Leasing across your portfolio, ensuring a high-performing and customer-focused Common Mall offer that supports asset plans and enterprise objectives.

You will:

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of four Pop-Up Leasing Executives, building capability, accountability and commercial confidence.
  • Drive portfolio performance by delivering revenue, occupancy, utilisation and NOI targets across six Queensland centres.
  • Develop and execute regional leasing strategies that maximise Common Mall returns while enhancing the customer experience.
  • Translate enterprise and regional priorities into clear centre-level actions and performance outcomes.
  • Identify, negotiate and secure high-quality retail, brand activation and experiential opportunities that optimise commercial performance.
  • Partner closely with Centre General Managers and asset teams, acting as the key commercial advisor for Common Mall opportunities, challenges and strategic initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, agencies, emerging brands and industry stakeholders to create a robust and diverse leasing pipeline.
  • Analyse market trends, customer insights and portfolio performance data to identify growth opportunities and improve decision-making.
  • Lead complex negotiations and commercial discussions to optimise pricing, deal structures and long-term value creation.
  • Ensure strong governance, operational excellence and compliance across agreements, systems, documentation and payment processes.

What Will Set You Apart?

You are an experienced commercial leader who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to growing revenue and developing people.

You will bring:

  • Proven success leading retail, leasing, property or commercial teams across multiple assets, regions or business units.
  • A strong track record of delivering revenue growth and commercial outcomes through negotiation, relationship management and strategic planning.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders, cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to interpret data, understand market trends and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation and deal-making capabilities with a focus on maximising value and long-term partnerships.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, resilient and adaptable leadership style that thrives in environments of change and opportunity.
  • A commitment to inclusion, collaboration and living Scentre Group's values every day.
