Your opportunity
The Design & Construction (D&C) team plays a critical role in shaping and evolving Scentre Group’s destinations across Australia and New Zealand. The team is responsible for delivering major construction redevelopment, operating and leasing capital works projects that enhance customer experience, support commercial growth and strengthen long -term asset performance.
Working across complex operational environments, the team partners closely with Operations, Leasing, Asset Management, Centre teams and external delivery partners to bring projects to life safely, efficiently and in line with Scentre Group’s strategic priorities and design standards.
Within D&C, the Tenancy Delivery function supports the successful delivery of retailer fit -outs and tenancy projects across the portfolio, ensuring retailers are operationally ready and aligned to design, construction, compliance and programme requirements.
About the role
- Lead the end -to-end delivery of retail tenancy projects, including base build, landlord works, Category 1 works and tenant fit-outs.
- Manage delivery outcomes, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and aligned to leasing strategy and design intent.
- Manage a portfolio of retail tenancy projects across varying stages, maintaining integrated programmes aligned to leasing milestones and opening dates.
- Monitor programme performance, proactively manage risks and implement corrective actions to protect retailer opening timelines.
- Coordinate landlord works, retailer fit -outs, access requirements and operational readiness activities across tenancy projects.
- Be the key interface with shop fitters, sub -contractors, consultants and Centre teams to support smooth project delivery outcomes.
- Support procurement, contractor coordination and delivery activities in line with project budgets and operational requirements
- Coordinate site access, inductions and operational readiness activities relating to tenancy works
- Partner closely with Leasing, Design, Facilities and Operations teams to minimise operational disruption and support successful retailer openings
- Ensure timely handover to Tenants and oversee opening readiness activities across tenancy projects
- Maintain accurate project records, programme tracking, delivery status reporting and operational documentation across tenancy activities
- Build strong relationships with shop fitters, sub -contractors and internal stakeholders to support collaborative delivery outcomes

- You coordinate multiple concurrent tenancy and fit -out projects across live retail environments
- You bring experience in tenancy coordination, construction coordination, project administration or retail fit -out environments
- You understand the importance of communication, responsiveness and stakeholder coordination in live operational environments
- You have experience working with contractors, retailers, consultants or project teams across delivery activities
- You know successful project delivery relies on organisation, follow -through and collaboration
- You understand the importance of safety, compliance and operational readiness within construction
- You are highly organised and comfortable managing multiple concurrent priorities
