Your opportunity

You will be responsible to lead and grow a high performing team of developers and administrators within the CRM team. You will also be accountable for leading solution design; ensuring solutions are scalable and are future proof, assist with build, and maintaining platform technical developments and enhancements ensuring leading industry standards are governed and followed.

This role is both a hands-on technical role as well as a people leadership and career development role. You will act as a mentor, providing training where required to developers and/or engineers within the team. You have deep experiences in end-to-end project delivery including business analysis, process and solution design, salesforce configuration, play backs and presentation, project management, change management and deployment management

You will have overall accountability for

  • Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, reliable and extensible
  • Partner with Product Leads for business priorities and business requirements
  • Lead and mentor developers/QA to assist with delivering service outcomes
  • Lead the design, provide estimates and development of Salesforce initiatives and integration components, including prioritisation and planning
  • Lead and be responsible for services in production, troubleshooting and data governance
  • Lead and chair sprint planning, refinement, retro and daily stand-up
  • Promote the use of appropriate design patterns and leading practices, whilst adhering to leading standards, guidelines and security requirements
  • Operate and partner with DevOps lead for continuous improvements and delivery processes and test automation
  • Produce and maintain relevant technical and system documentation and assist with documenting process and procedure information as and when required and ensure all documents are kept up to date
  • Contribute to a high-performance team culture that values collaboration, learning and continuous improvement
  • Contribute and feed into the overall Technology Strategy
  • Continue to self-educate and to complete further Salesforce certifications and trailheads

Additional, favourable skills or experience:

  • 10+ years of Salesforce experience
  • Experienced in leading a Salesforce engineering team and improving overall software delivery performance
  • Extensive experience with Sales & Service Cloud, Financial Force, Marketing Cloud and Experience Cloud
  • Experienced as a Salesforce developer with a solid understanding of technology concepts, Apex, Salesforce LWC & JavaScript, and declarative approaches
  • Experienced in lean thinking and agile practices
  • Experienced in growing technical and personal capabilities in team members
  • Experienced in coaching or mentoring an individual
  • Excellent stakeholder management
  • Master in diagnosing complex problems, root-causes, able to provide alternatives and solutions
  • Ability to think beyond a particular CRM platform and explore the possibility of the impossible
  • 15+ Salesforce certification with System and Application Architect certifications a plus
