Your opportunity

Our Customer Business Development team exists to generate customer engagement and advocacy through the delivery of extraordinary experiences. We enable our Partners to leverage the full power of the Westfield ecosystem, create a culture of Customer obsession, drive superior commercial returns from the Westfield ecosystem, and ensure an extraordinary Customer Experience is a sustainable one.

As a Commercial Contract Manager within the Customer Business Development (CBD) Integrated Services team you will be responsible for partnering with Business Stakeholders to manage the contractual arrangements to ensure the successful delivery of key strategic initiatives.

Day to day, your main responsibilities will include (but not be limited to)

  • Supporting Business owners to manage and maintain the contract management process to ensure correct and consistent contract interpretation and corporate governance
  • Coordinate the relevant internal assessments, including engaging with Privacy, Risk, Legal & Technology to ensuring these requirements are captured as part of any third-party agreement.
  • Support the negotiation of portfolio agreements ensuring that Scentre Group’s interests are well represented.
  • Articulating contract requirements, including terms and conditions and scope of work, and the rights and obligations of parties
  • Supporting the Integrated Services leadership team to implement initiatives, delivering a consistent commercial approach.
  • Providing advice to business owners on commercial, financial, risk management, internal policies and related issues for all commercial negotiations, vendor or supplier engagement
  • Identify opportunities to improve the Contract Management process and develop plans to implement these changes across all business units
  • Review SOW/proposals and contract change for commercial risk and consistent standards. This includes liaising with, reviewing and approving in conjunction with operational stakeholders on contract change, pricing, SLA's, and other contractual artefacts

  • Experience in Contract management / commercial negotiations
  • Experience in effectively communicating and dealing with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work as part of a dynamic environment, working toward solutions which benefit all involved parties
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, especially word
