Your Opportunity

Join a collaborative and high-performing project delivery team where you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of multiple construction projects. Working closely with experienced Project Managers and Contracts Managers, you'll gain exposure to all aspects of project commercial management, procurement and contract administration while contributing to projects that make a visible impact. You will have overall accountability for:

  • Assist in managing the commercial and financial performance of construction projects to achieve budget, quality, safety and programme objectives.
  • Monitor project budgets, cost forecasts and expenditures, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions as required.
  • Prepare and assist with monthly project reporting, including financial performance, commitments and forecast cost reviews.
  • Coordinate subcontractor and supplier procurement activities, including tender preparation, evaluation, negotiation and award.
  • Develop detailed scopes of work and tender documentation to support effective subcontract engagement.
  • Administer subcontract agreements, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, company procedures and relevant legislation.
  • Review, assess and process subcontractor and supplier payment claims in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support project planning and procurement scheduling to ensure materials and trade packages are delivered on time.
  • Maintain project documentation, contracts, insurances, warranties, securities and commercial records.
  • Assist with project completion activities, including subcontract finalisation, defect management, handover documentation and release of retention and securities.

What will set you apart from the rest?

Experience in the following:

  • Previous experience in a Contracts Administrator, Project Administrator, Contract Coordinator or similar role within construction, fit-out or property development.
  • Sound understanding of contract administration, subcontract management, procurement and tendering processes.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, cost tracking, forecasting and project reporting.
  • Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Property or a related discipline, with proficiency in project management and cost management systems.
