We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join Westfield Southland as our Facilities Manager. In this role, you'll lead the delivery of safe, efficient and sustainable facilities operations across a dynamic Westfield destination, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers, retail partners and teams. You'll oversee a small team, manage key contractor relationships and drive asset performance through strategic planning and continuous improvement. This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on a high-profile asset while shaping its long-term success.
Day-to-day you will be responsible for:
- Leading key facilities initiatives that support our commitment to operating as a safe, sustainable and responsible business.
- Delivering high-quality facilities services that support the Centre team and enhance the customer experience across the destination.
- Developing and executing asset lifecycle plans, capital works programs and maintenance strategies to optimise asset performance.
- Using operational and environmental data to identify opportunities for improvement and drive better business outcomes.
- Building strong partnerships with contractors and stakeholders while overseeing maintenance, repair and capital works projects.
This role is a permanent full-time position and includes Duty Management responsibilities on a rotating weekend roster, with time off in lieu provided.
What sets you apart
You bring facilities management experience from a retail, property, hospitality or similarly customer-focused environment, along with a strong track record leading teams and managing complex assets. You are commercially minded, confident managing operating and capital budgets, and capable of balancing strategic planning with hands-on operational delivery. You hold a Diploma or tertiary qualification in Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management, Trade or a related discipline and thrive in fast-paced environments where safety, service and stakeholder engagement are paramount.
