Your opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Centre Manager to lead the team at Westfield Coomera.

As the Centre Manager, you will be accountable for the day-to-day success of a significant retail asset, bringing together retailers, partners and the local community to create a destination where customers choose to visit more often and stay longer. Reporting to the Regional Manager, Customer Experience - QLD, you will lead a high-performing Centre Leadership Team and drive strong strategic, commercial, customer and operational outcomes.

Westfield Coomera is a vibrant and growing destination servicing a trade area population of approximately 306,000 people, welcoming more than 6.6 million customer visits annually and home to over 160 business partners. Located in the heart of one of Australia's fastest-growing regions, the centre plays an important role in connecting and enriching the local community.

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Leading and developing a high-performing Centre Leadership Team, building capability, accountability, engagement and succession.
  • Leading a customer-centric culture, putting the customer at the centre of decisions and using insights, NPS and advocacy drivers to shape centre priorities and the future customer experience.
  • Leading the commercial performance of the centre, including P&L management, budgeting and capital planning, and identifying opportunities to improve performance and growth.
  • Building strong relationships with community, government and external stakeholders, representing Westfield Coomera and strengthening its position within the local market.
  • Influencing the centre’s product strategy, using customer, retailer and market insights to help shape future direction and growth opportunities.
  • Owning the overall destination experience, ensuring high standards of presentation, operations, safety and customer experience across the centre.
  • Providing strong leadership across risk, safety and incident management, including preparedness for and response to significant incidents and emergencies, and ensuring WHS and compliance obligations are met.

This role is permanent full-time.

What sets you apart:

You are a visible and approachable leader who combines commercial acumen with a genuine passion for customers, people and community. You thrive in complex, fast-paced environments and have a proven track record of delivering results through influence, collaboration and strong operational leadership.

You will bring:

  • Senior leadership experience within retail, property, hospitality or a similarly customer-focused environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading large, multidisciplinary teams and developing future leaders.
  • The ability to connect the dots across the business, bringing together customer and commercial insights with an understanding of the local market to identify opportunities and inform decisions.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience understanding budgets, business performance and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Strong relationship management and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and work effectively across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience translating customer insights into practical actions that improve customer experience and business results.
  • Strong operational leadership, with experience managing safety, risk, compliance and complex operational issues.
  • Proven ability to lead through change and adapt quickly to evolving priorities.
  • A hands-on approach and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get things done.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to engage across all levels of the organisation and externally
